In season 5 episode 14 Maxwell tells Fran that he loves her and doesn't take it back. The romantic tension between Maxwell and Fran lasts until the middle of the 5th season, when the couple gets engaged; following several snafus, they are finally married in the season 5 finale.

Michael Andrew Levitas is Maggie Sheffield's Jewish husband. He works as an underwear model and is related to James Brolin. He lives across the hallway from Sylvia and Morty (Fran's parents) in an apartment. He and Maggie got married in the episode Maggie's Wedding.
Whether or not Maggie wanted to keep the baby didn't quite matter because there's always a chance her cancer can come back. Not wanting to put the baby at risk, she decides that she is going to have an abortion because it's not worth the risk so soon after stopping the chemotherapy.
